Discovery Parks - Forster

This was the second Christmas we have spent here and we will definitely be booking in for a third. The staff are helpful and very welcoming. All the facilities and amenities are kept clean. Love the new addition of the kids playground and the pump track is awesome. It’s very relaxing to sit on one of the many sun lounges by the pool and waterpark. This year we were in a cabin which was clean, had comfy beds and all the bits and pieces in a kitchen that you would need. We had a huge balcony to sit and enjoy the amazing view of the lake. Love the kids activities that the holiday park put on. Our fave this year was the kids fishing competition which our daughter won this year thank you for the new fishing rod and the stubbie holders 😊 There’s an on-site cafe which has great views of the water and serves up amazing coffee and food. Thank you discovery parks Darawank for making our holiday an enjoyable one 😊

This is an amazing place. The location is a short drive from the heart of Forster. The site is right on the river with multiple boat ramps and little beaches right at your door step. Great for bringing the boat or jet ski, it's a short 10 minute ride on the water to Forster Lake. The cabins are very nice and the facilities are great. A nice water park for the kids, kayaks and buggies available for free. A very calm and relaxing spot.

This was an amazing stay!! Our first time being away at Christmas and booked on the recommendation of our close friends - thankfully we did! We were in our camper trailer with the site right near the bathrooms, camp kitchen and games room and can’t fault it (our own fault for putting the camper the wrong way on the slab was the only annoyance due to the rain, but we know for next time). The facilities were SO clean (I don’t think we’ve ever camped somewhere as clean and well-stocked in terms of the amenities) and the staff did a fantastic job of replenishing and maintaining everything throughout our stay. The kids activities planned for the Christmas period were AMAZING. Such a fantastic way to break up the day and ensure the kids stayed occupied. The activities were either free or extremely minimal cost as well so kudos to the team for pulling it off. Our friends daughter won the fishing comp and that was great fun, with the wonka pancakes a highlight for our daughters. Having the cafe open for the period was a welcome surprise as well (I needed coffee!!) with the ice cream van a lovely treat of an evening for the whole family. The location itself = amazing. Beautiful river for fishing, swimming and water sports, lots of bbqs around and plenty of bins for rubbish which were emptied regularly. The splash park, pool, playground, pump track and seating for watching the kids at all spots were great and in great condition. Huge camp kitchen, the best I’ve seen so far on our travels. All in all we can’t wait to come back and highly recommend to everyone for a great family oriented and well-kept option for a holiday.

This caravan park is good. Its got a lot going on at the moment. Road in is getting redone. Lots of new cabins. Lots to do for kids, playground, bike pump track, waterpark, pool & river. Got boat ramp. We had a good view of the river on 1 of the only 2 sites down the bottom. Have 3 complaints but not venting them so only 1. Could suggest not put people with no kids on the bottom sites next to pump track.

We had an amazing time here over Christmas. The park has some amazing facilities, the managers put on such a fantastic week for the children filled with dance parties, pancake making, fishing comps and even a visit from Santa . My Mr 3 loved the park, both water park and bump track and our pup was well welcomed, with a great off lead area for him to let out some energy . Thanks guys, we'll be back.
